This type of threat is resolved in the same way as in the previous lesson.
As we explained, since we cannot initially identify the type of weapon or object threatening us, we will use the same defensive technique.
STEPS

If you’re turning on the same side as the knife, the steps will be identical.
The only difference is that the armed arm would be crossed over the attacker’s body, so we’ll still hold it against our body; however, the neck grip would be from the outside, with the fingers facing inward.
*Disarming option (if the attacker doesn’t let go of the gun): After several knee strikes, use the hand holding the back of the attacker’s neck to grab the gun. We’ll hold it by the barrel and rotate it slightly to facilitate its exit through the attacker’s thumb.
With an outward pull, we release it and fire a couple or three shots at the attacker’s face with the barrel of the gun. Now we look back, take several steps to create distance, and reload the gun, finally aiming at our opponent.
